SRS (FERS Annuity Supplement)

The bridge payment for FERS retirees under 62, approximating Social Security.

The FERS annuity supplement (often called the Special Retirement Supplement) is paid with immediate unreduced FERS retirements before age 62. OPM estimates it as your age-62 Social Security benefit × (civilian FERS years ÷ 40). It is subject to an earnings test and always stops at 62.
